Question:   How do I extend the Elayyt Selfie Stick?

Answer:      There are some instructions on the reverse side of the packaging. All you need to do is screw the two parts together and then                               attach your cell phone to the holder. It is important when you insert the cable into the cellphone that you fully insert it so that the                     trigger functions correctly. It is possible to extend the selfie stick by grasping the holder and pulling it out to the desired length. It                       is relatively firm so that the phone or camera stays in place when you are taking a photo.

Question:   How does the Elayyt Selfie Stick work with a camera?

Answer:      If you remove the cell phone holder there is a standard thread that allows you to screw a camera onto the top of the Elayyt Selfie                       Stick. This will allow you to take a higher quality photo with your camera either set on timer or smile shutter. I tend to use this                           attachment as I prefer the quality of the photos from my camera over my cell phone.

 

Question:   Does the Elayyt Selfie Stick work with Canon Powershot N?

Answer:      Yes, the Elayyt Selfie Stick works well with the Canon Powershot, just set it to either timer or smile shutter. The Canon Powershot                     is a light and versatile camera and the Elayyt Selfie Stick can easily handle its weight. The holder is secure and it is possible to get                       some quality selfies from unusual angles.

 

Question:   Does the Elayyt Selfie Stick work with GoPros?

Answer:      I use my GoPro Hero Silver with my Elayyt Selfie Stick. You need a special attachment to ensure that the GoPro is held securely. I                       turn on the GoPro manually and then trim the video later if I feel like it. The cable is not compatible with the GoPro however it is                         possible to set up the camera so that it takes multiple shots.

 

Question:   Does the cell phone holder on the Elayyt Selfie Stick rotate?

Answer:      The Elayyt Selfie Stick rotates 360 degrees around the vertical axis. It's range of motion is 252 degrees around the horizontal axis.                       The advantage of this is that you can use the selfie stick to take photos where you may not be able to normally see. For example                           down a cliff or at a concert. Yesterday I used my selfie stick to take a photo looking down into a vertical shaft in a limestone cave                         system. It would not have been safe in this instance to try to take the photo only using my arm.

 

Question:   Will the Elayyt Selfie Stick hold an iPhone 6 plus with an otter box case on it? 

Answer:      The Elayyt Selfie Stick definitely fits the iPhone 6 Plus Phone, however the phone holder does not open wide enough to fit the                               Otterbox Case. The Elayyt Selfie Stick opens to 3.54 inches, and the Otterbox Case is 4.4 inches wide. We are currently                                           investigating a larger holder to accommodate the bigger phone cases.

 

Question:   Does the Elayyt Selfie Stick work with the Tablet LG F8?

Answer:      The Elayyt Selfie Stick phone holder extends to hold a device approximately 4 inches wide, and the LG F8 Tablet is almost 5 inches                       wide so is a fraction too wide to fit. You would require a customized attachment which we do not have at this stage.
